The Canadian Association of Mold Makers and the Automotive Parts Manufacturers’ Association may soon form a single organization.

The combination makes sense considering the associations’ overlap in membership, CAMM Executive Director Diane Deslippe told Plastics News. The associations have previously partnered to host events and advertise job openings.

Headquartered in Windsor, Ontario, CAMM comprises mold makers, designers, manufacturers and suppliers and services companies across Canada. Toronto’s APMA represents producers of parts, equipment, tools, supplies and services for the automotive industry

CAMM and APMA will vote on the potential union in October, Deslippe said.
